Armored Warfare 1917

The year 1917 was the third year of the first World War taking place between years 1914 and 1918. The year is primarily known as a year of rest and recruiting new soldiers after major losses in the west. However less known is the fact, that just 1917 is the year when French army began to use its self-made tank called St.Chamond. Its crew consisted of 9 men, tank range was 36,5 miles (59 km) and its drive was secured with help of combination of a 4-cylinder petrol engine and an electric engine. This unusual combination increased weight of the tank about 5,1 tons to the total weight of 23 and a half tons, which guaranteed very poor throughput through terrain. Top speed was 5,3 miles per hour (8,5 km/h). In this game Armored Warfare 1917 you will be controlling this tank across a long distance of a battle area and your task is reach the final station. For a help you have reinforcements in the form of soldiers, vehicles and an air support. Of course, you can use also weapons available on your tank - 75 mm cannon Modele and up to 4 machine guns.
