About Firefly Swing

Firefly Swing is an endless arcade game set in a quiet forest at night. You play as a small firefly traveling on a silk thread between glowing bellflowers. Your goal is simple: swing from flower to flower and fly as far as you can through the dark, thorny brambles. The game features a unique one-button mechanic where holding down the button shoots a thread to the nearest flower, and releasing it launches you forward with the momentum of your swing.

Timing is everything in this forest. Every flower can only support you for about three seconds. As you hang, the flower's light shifts from a warm yellow to a warning red. Once the light fades completely, the flower breaks, and your run ends. Successful players learn to release at the peak of their forward arc to maximize distance and catch the next flower smoothly.

As you progress, the forest becomes more dangerous. After the first 70 meters, floating thorn seeds begin to appear in your path. Later stages introduce moving flowers and wider gaps, requiring precise timing.
