Wordtide

Wordtide is a word game played on one endless board. You start with seven letter tiles and build words that hook onto the words already on the map. Every word you place stays on the board, and the board keeps growing as you and the friendly AI explorers add to it.

How to play

Drag tiles from your rack onto the board, or tap a square and then a tile. Your new word must connect to a word that is already there, and every word you form must be a valid English word. Press Play to score it. Longer words, rare letters and bonus squares give more points. If you are stuck, use Shuffle to reorder your rack or Swap to trade tiles.

Game modes

• Live board: the big open map where you build, level up and unlock new tile looks as you play.
• Daily Seven: seven letters, one par score to beat, and a new puzzle every day.
• Solo Journey: 100 hand-made puzzles across eight islands, with a goal on every level.

Progression

You earn experience for every word and rise through levels. Quests give you small daily goals, and a Coach can show a word if you need a hint. Your progress is saved in your browser, so you can close the page and continue later.

Tips

Look for bonus squares before you place a word. Hook short words such as ZA or QI onto the board to use difficult letters. Cross two words at once to score both.
