French Apple Pie - Cooking with Emma

Have you already tried one of the Emmas delicious recipes? If not, try this one - french apple pie. It is the most delicious pie that I have ever had. Instructions are here: Peel, and quarter apples. MIx them into a large bowl with flour, sugar, margarine, and salt. Roll the dough to the size of a pan, cover it with wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Arrange the apple quarters in circles on top of the caramel. Fill any gaps with extra apple pieces. Sprinkle sugar, and heat the pan shortly. Preheat oven, and place chilled dough over the apples. Bake for 30 minutes until the pastry is golden brown. Then, let it rest for another 15 minutes. It will be very hot, so be careful during the serving. Have fun.
